WATERFRONT UNLOADING/LOADING FACILITY
We have two waterfront facilities: One located 3 miles above the Westlake R.R. Bridge on the Calcasieu River in north Lake Charles, LA and the other positioned on the Intracoastal Waterway a couple miles west of the Mississippi River locks in Port Allen, LA. These facilities can receive barges for unloading/loading scrap metals and other metal structures for recycling. Along with material handling cranes equipped with grapple and/or magnet for efficient transfer of bulk scrap metal cargoes, we have multiple heavy lift cranes capable of handling the larger, oversized structures. From oilfield pipe lines, platforms and jackets or other marine equipment and structures, we can safely and efficiently handle your material to serve your recycling needs.
MARINE VESSEL RECYCLING
You should be receiving the highest return on your investment on the sale of your end-of-life marine vessels from a reliable and trustworthy company. In addition, you should feel a sense of comfort and security that your assets are being recycled in a safe and environmentally friendly manner. Louisiana Scrap Metal will satisfy this investment recovery need. From inland and offshore tugs and barges, dry docks, rigs, platforms, or ships, we can recycle it.
Our fast growing marine recycling facility is well positioned about 3 miles above the Westlake R.R. Bridge on the Calcasieu River in north Lake Charles, LA with deep water access. This calm part of the river with minimal tidal changes and protected slip is a perfect location to secure and safely perform dismantling activities.
But don’t worry about the logistics because if your asset is floating safely, we may be able to acquire it “where-is”. Furthermore, we work with many fleet locations on the Mississippi River and Gulf Intra-coastal Waterway and can provide a mutually agreeable and convenient delivery point.
We want to be your partner in recycling, so please call us today to arrange an inspection, provide a quote or answer any of your questions.
